Xiam short-listed for Prestigious GSM Association award
Dublin, 9th February - Xiam, provider of a suite of software products for mobile content management, delivery and merchandising, today announced that it had been short-listed in the "Best Mobile Application Developer" category of the GSM Association Awards 2004.
The award is for application developers who are seen to demonstrate compelling delivery of applications that are helping to drive the take-up of wireless data services. This is the second year in succession that Xiam have been nominated in this prestigious category.
Speaking on behalf of Xiam, CEO Colm Healy said, "We are absolutely delighted to receive this nomination for the second time. It is further recognition of the progress that the company has made in the last twelve months."
The winners of the GSM Association Awards, the "Oscars of the Mobile Industry", will be announced on 24th February during the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes, which takes place from 23rd - 27th February, and is the world's largest telecommunications show. Xiam will be exhibiting in Hall 1, stand B22. Colm Healy, CEO, will be speaking on day four of the congress, on "Independent Distribution Channels - A Threat or Opportunity?"
